Budget Shopper: ShoeDazzle

I know better than anyone how quickly money problems can roll around and you can't have that heel you've been eyeing for months.. *sigh* Well, ShoeDazzle could probably help in that department. I've been a member of ShoeDazzle for a while now but I've only ordered from the site once.. and I was content with my purchase. Still in love with that shoe! Anyway, this month's showroom is definitely my favorite so far. I was shocked that I liked almost all of the shoes. I think that's because they resemble a lot of the shoes I've had my eyes on.. *cough* Steve Madden *cough* Just thought I'd share a few with you all. I would love to have all of these but the red and the bottom black are my faves!

The title of this post is in reference to this outfit (worn to church today) and just my life at the moment which is why I've been absent from the blogger world. I almost deleted this blog but something just wouldn't let me. Things just keep spiraling out of control for me but thankfully I went to church today and heard an awesome sermon. It is my faith in God that's keeping me going.

Anyway, I felt like I was all over the place with this outfit but I liked it. lol. Those pants are one of my favorite thrift finds. :)

You can't tell but I wasn't quite myself in these pics. lol.. It's our school's Homecoming weekend so.... that's all that needs to be said. I had waaaayyy too much fun last night. I'm not a big fan of the clubs but last night was the most fun I've ever had at a club. It was probably the most fun I've had this whole semester..

I know I've been MIA lately but life happens.. and my camera is currently at my mama's house so I couldn't really take pictures if I was dressed to do so, which lately I haven't.

Back to those babies up top.. I'm definitely needing those. I'm in absolute love with that pump. It's not often that I see a shoe and think "I will have that by any means necessary" but that's one. And it's currently on sale for $79.99. I'm praying for money to magically appear in my bank account.

This is what I wore yesterday. We're finally getting some fall weather. This pose is meant to show you how excited I am about that. Are you getting it? Maybe not. Haha. It's a big gap in between my last post because I've been "bummin" it.

Anyway, me and my friends had a fun day today. I'm trying to get my money's worth out of this camera so I'm definitely going to try to squeeze more days in like this. Look at how fly my friend Zach looks. I'm definitely trying to steal that blazer and scarf. He's joined the thrifting team as well. :)

It's Friday!!! So glad this week is over. I had 3 tests this week so I'm definitely excited that the weekend is here. I've been wearing jeans all week... Mostly because jeans make college life easier and because I need new options for bottoms. lol.. This outfit is rather "springy" but I didn't mind especially since this weather keeps playing tricks on us. Still feeling like summer around here. I'm ready to layer some "thangs!" :)

Blogger Girl Crush: Thrill of the Heel

I love when I go to a person's blog and I feel the need to keep clicking "older entries" until I just have to make myself stop... Okay, that sounds kind of stalker-ish but I'm being honest. Haha.. That's exactly how I feel about Thrill of the Heel. I know I'm probably late in the blogger world but I love her style. I love that she isn't afraid of color or trying things. I also love that even though she is a "popular" blogger, she takes time out to show appreciation to those who comment. And that's rare.

Comfy Is In!

Everything is thrifted except the necklaces and belt. I LOVE that blazer! That's a skirt I'm wearing as a dress. I wanted to wear it as a skirt but I liked the fit better this way. I wore this to our "blackout" game Saturday. I was definitely going for comfortable so I chose to wear my oxfords versus heels. Sue me!

I'm not one of those people who think certain colors should only be worn during certain seasons so I can't wait to wear this skirt in the fall with tights and boots. Idc how "summery" or "springy" it looks.

(my couch is gray with teal/red pillows. I'll post pics one day).

I just realized that I'll never be a "girly-girl" which is why I decided to pair that dress with a hard color (and jeans)? I guess that's the way to say it. This week has been a tough week, I haven't had much mental energy. I've mostly been wanting to be alone. Something good did happen this week though, the temperature dropped! It's been feeling like fall all week. Definitely needed that considering the MS heat is the worst.

Me and a friend of mine went out for drinks last night so I tried to keep it simple but cute. I'm addicted to blazers, I really think they add that extra "umph" which is why I've become a collector. It really is a problem now because I looked in my closet the other day and spotted a black one that I forgot I even had. lol..

But forget the blazer, it's the clutch that I'm in love with. When I saw it in the thrift store, I knew I wasn't going to leave it in there. I just wondered who would even give it up?! Absolutely my favorite thrifted thing!

Yes, the return of the peach shorts! I had to get up EARLIER than usual this morning to read over some notes and these shorts were just laying there so... I grabbed a tank and my favorite oversized cardigan and boom.

This is a close-up (a bad one) of the earrings. I got these from the thrift store for $3. I also bought a clutch and another pair of earrings ($1) that I loveee. I'm officially addicted to thrift stores.
