That picture is horrible. lol.. Just wanted to show off one of my favorite blazers. I bought/posted it a while ago but last week was my first time wearing it. I love that color.

Below are pictures of my new favorite things.. including birthday gifts. My birthday was this past Thursday.

1. These earrings are everrrything. My friends know me well.

2. I'm in love with the Sam Edelman spiked loafers. Unfortunately, I can never find my size.. teambigfoot. SMH.. So I had to settle for the ShoeDazzle version which aren't too shabby. Dangerous shoe though. lol

3. My first pair of spring flats. They're Liz Claiborne, found them at TJ Maxx for $30. I'm cheap, love a deal!

4. Needed brown loafers.. Ordered these back in January from Amazon. They were like $50, I think. I wear them often.

5. Found that black bag at TJ Maxx. It's my favorite bag at the moment. It ain't Chanel but it shall do. :)

6. Brown bag is a gift from my mommy... From Target. I love Target's bags.

7. Clutch gifted by Zack from a local boutique. Again, my friends know me!

8. Yes, I'm now teamiPhone... And no I'm not one of those "oh I have an iPhone now, I'm better than everybody" folks. Smh.

The title of this post is in reference to this outfit (worn to church today) and just my life at the moment which is why I've been absent from the blogger world. I almost deleted this blog but something just wouldn't let me. Things just keep spiraling out of control for me but thankfully I went to church today and heard an awesome sermon. It is my faith in God that's keeping me going.

Anyway, I felt like I was all over the place with this outfit but I liked it. lol. Those pants are one of my favorite thrift finds. :)

I apologize for these pictures. The quality is horrible because they're from my phone which is on its last leg. My Nikon was at my apt thankfully. These pics don't show how cute that top or my shoes are. :/ I bought these booties last winter and they are the most comfortable shoes I own.

You can't tell but I wasn't quite myself in these pics. lol.. It's our school's Homecoming weekend so.... that's all that needs to be said. I had waaaayyy too much fun last night. I'm not a big fan of the clubs but last night was the most fun I've ever had at a club. It was probably the most fun I've had this whole semester..

This is what I wore yesterday. We're finally getting some fall weather. This pose is meant to show you how excited I am about that. Are you getting it? Maybe not. Haha. It's a big gap in between my last post because I've been "bummin" it.

Anyway, me and my friends had a fun day today. I'm trying to get my money's worth out of this camera so I'm definitely going to try to squeeze more days in like this. Look at how fly my friend Zach looks. I'm definitely trying to steal that blazer and scarf. He's joined the thrifting team as well. :)

It's Friday!!! So glad this week is over. I had 3 tests this week so I'm definitely excited that the weekend is here. I've been wearing jeans all week... Mostly because jeans make college life easier and because I need new options for bottoms. lol.. This outfit is rather "springy" but I didn't mind especially since this weather keeps playing tricks on us. Still feeling like summer around here. I'm ready to layer some "thangs!" :)

I just realized that I'll never be a "girly-girl" which is why I decided to pair that dress with a hard color (and jeans)? I guess that's the way to say it. This week has been a tough week, I haven't had much mental energy. I've mostly been wanting to be alone. Something good did happen this week though, the temperature dropped! It's been feeling like fall all week. Definitely needed that considering the MS heat is the worst.

Me and a friend of mine went out for drinks last night so I tried to keep it simple but cute. I'm addicted to blazers, I really think they add that extra "umph" which is why I've become a collector. It really is a problem now because I looked in my closet the other day and spotted a black one that I forgot I even had. lol..

But forget the blazer, it's the clutch that I'm in love with. When I saw it in the thrift store, I knew I wasn't going to leave it in there. I just wondered who would even give it up?! Absolutely my favorite thrifted thing!

Yes, the return of the peach shorts! I had to get up EARLIER than usual this morning to read over some notes and these shorts were just laying there so... I grabbed a tank and my favorite oversized cardigan and boom.

This is a close-up (a bad one) of the earrings. I got these from the thrift store for $3. I also bought a clutch and another pair of earrings ($1) that I loveee. I'm officially addicted to thrift stores.

The second outfit is what I wore to class today... Yes, the fall semester has begun. :/ Anywho, I've been loving everything tribal print lately so I was happy to see this cardigan in TJ Maxx... and my friends all said it "looked" like me. Love it.

I was inspired to get box braids after seeing Solange with them. Loving them so far... but this hair is HEAVY. lol

Flower Patch

I've been slacking on updates but I'll have my laptop back next week.. YESSS! And I only had to pay $190 to get it fixed which is good since I was expecting a $300 bill... So I'll be able to update more, maybe not every day.

I wore that outfit to my friends birthday gathering at Logan's. Everything I have on is thrifted except the earrings, they're from JCPenney. Speaking of thrifting, I haven't done much lately because I've been busy buying furniture/decorations for my apartment. YAY! But I'll be back to it soon!
